Robert Palley is a Chicago-based real estate acquisition and development professional and a founding partner of Granite Realty Partners, LLC, where he has overseen firm operations since 1998. For more than two decades, he has helped drive the strategy behind identifying opportunities, evaluating assets, and guiding transactions from acquisition through development and long-term value creation. Over the course of his career, Mr. Palley has participated in more than $1 billion in real estate development and acquisitions, with experience spanning office, industrial, retail, and other commercial property types.
Prior to launching Granite Realty Partners, Mr. Palley held senior roles with several respected organizations, including Jupiter Realty Corporation, where he served as vice president and principal and led large-scale retail development initiatives. Earlier, as vice president and principal of The Levy Organization, he was involved in acquiring, financing, and developing more than $200 million in commercial real estate. He also served as a project manager with Oliver T. Carr Company, contributing to the development and leasing of approximately 600,000 square feet of Class A office space. He began his career in finance as director of finance at Levy Restaurants in 1983.
Mr. Palley earned both a BA in biology and an MBA in finance from Northwestern University. He remains engaged locally through professional and community affiliations, including real estate organizations and long-standing ties to Oak Park.
